Young Thug Says 'F**k the Cops' in Baltimore Protests

The Atlanta rapper posted his message on Instagram.

The streets of Baltimore are a lot calmer after a 10 p.m. curfew was imposed to prevent riots that sabotaged the city earlier this week. However, Young Thug has a message for Baltimore protesters who have been outraged about the injustice surrounding Freddie Gray’s death.

“War. Rage. Chaos. It’s the only thing needed in Baltimore right now,” Thug said in his Instagram video uploaded last night. “I wish I was from there. Better yet — I wish I was there.” He ended with, “F**k the cops. Black lives matter. Pray for them people.”

While Thug inciting more violence is his way of showing sympathy, other rappers have advocated for peaceful protests. Joey Bada$ participated in a rally assembled by demonstrators held in NYC yesterday. Wale recently made the trip to Baltimore to boast the morale of the residents, visiting Frederick Douglass High School to encourage students to stay positive.
