Chris Brown Officially Off Probation
Chris Brown reached a “monumental feat” in court this afternoon (March 20). A judge ended Brown’s probation, officially closing the Rihanna assault case from 2009.
The 25-year-old successfully completed the terms of his community service, fulfilling the last of his legal obligations, noted judge James R. Brandlin.
It’s been a bumpy legal road for the singer, who had his probation revoked for a third time earlier in the year. Lawyer Mark Geragos couldn’t be “more delighted” at the progress Brown has made. "He is in a spot right now and a place right now that I couldn't be prouder of him," Geragos said following today’s hearing.
Breezy is equally ecstatic to be done with probation. He tweeted after court, “IM OFF PROBATION!!!!!!!! Thank the Lord!!!!!!”
