Chris Brown, Drake Are Not Working on a Rihanna Diss
Rihanna has nothing to do with why Chris Brown and Drake have been in the studio lately. One project that they're working on is new music for the Fan of a Fan mixtape collaboration with Tyga, according to Rikki Martinez of L.A.'s Power 106 radio station.
Martinez tweeted Tuesday (July 29), "On the phone w/ Tyga earlier. Drake was in studio w/ him & ChrisBrown to be on the next Fan of a Fan project. There's no Rih diss in the works."
The Rihanna diss rumor swirled after Drake and Brown were photographed in the studio together earlier in the month. Days later they appeared at the ESPYs together.
This new friendship is a switch up from two years ago, when they were reportedly fighting over Rih Rih inside a New York City nightclub.
Somewhere between Brown's latest jail release and Drake's most recent Rihanna split, they decided to squash their problems, and the timing couldn't be better. Drake just hit a new milestone that his friend can help him celebrate. Lil Wayne's "Believe Me" gives the 27-year-old Canadian rap star his 14th No. 1 single on Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop Airplay charts, topping Usher's record.
