DMX Arrested for Driving With Suspended License

DMX has been released after being apprehended for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance, reports his rep in a statement to BET.com. "DMX was released at 9:46 p.m. Eastern, Monday night [Nov. 4]. He was arrested on minor traffic charges and spent only three hours in jail."
Further, "This short arrest will not affect any of his upcoming concerts," his rep said. X is next scheduled to perform tomorrow with Swizz Beatz on the Wendy Williams Show.

DMX has been arrested for driving with a suspended license, TMZ reports. The Ruff Ryder was also caught driving without insurance in an unlicensed vehicle. He was on his way to a South Carolina airport. The troubled rapper (real name: Earl Simmons) is currently in custody and waiting to appear before a judge.
A rep for the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport says officers recognized X as soon as he pulled up to the terminal and were well aware of his arrest record. Apart from multiple suspended license charges, he was also arrested twice in the past three months for marijuana possession and a DUI.
The "Party Up" seemed to be making progress at cleaning up his life after his release from jail in 2011, but has been backsliding in a big way in the past year. He filed for bankruptcy last April and opened up to Dr. Phil about his addiction and arrests this past summer.
Hopefully the multi-platinum recording artist will get his life together soon, or he may be headed back to prison.
