Arrest Warrant Issued for Chief Keef
Chief Keef could be headed into police custody for repeatedly blowing off his child support order. A judge has issued a warrant for the teen's arrest after he skipped a hearing regarding the outstanding debt last week.
Keef, 18, owes his child's mother over $20,000 in back pay and was scheduled for court Sept. 3. Since he didn't show, the "I Don't Like" rapper could be detained until he pays at least a fifth of the bill, but he may have already beaten authorities to the punch. Keef tweeted "On may way! To court #PrayFaMe" sometime this afternoon.
Lawsuits and other legal issues have hounded Keef for the past several months. The hefty child support payment is only one of the many outstanding bills he's being called on to pay. Keef is also being sued by his landlord for $10,000 in unpaid rent, and was ordered to pay six figures for missing a show date.
Even with the drama, Keef hasn't exactly been hiding from the law. He remains active on Twitter, and was last seen performing at the Rock the Bells music festival in Southern California last Saturday (Sept. 7).
