Chief Keef Arrested for Speeding
Chief Keef has been arrested again. This time, the 17-year-old Chicago rapper born Keith Cozart was reportedly driving 110 mph in a 55 mph zone on Winnetka Road in Northfield, IL.
Police pulled over Cozart's 2011 BMW X6 M early this morning, TMZ reported. Officers said he had three passengers in the car, which is a violation of a permit that allows him only one. Keeping Cozart in custody, the cops released the vehicle to one of the passengers.
This incident is the latest in a short-storied career of legal run-ins for the rapper. Exactly one week ago (May 21), Cozart was arrested for disorderly conduct for smoking marijuana in a hotel room. This past March, he completed a 60-day sentence for a probation violation stemming from a 2012 gun charge. And he was ordered on house arrest twice in 2011 — charges included heroin manufacture and distribution; and aggravated assault with a firearm on an officer, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and resisting arrest.
