Chris Brown: "Drake and I Have Our Differences, But His Music Is Still Hot"
Is there a bromance brewing between Chris Brown and Drake?
We wouldn't take it that far, but Breezy did have some nice things to say about his alleged nemesis during a visit to Power 106 radio station on Friday. The "Look at Me Now" singer said "it's all good" between him and Drake, adding that "we have our differences."
He then threw a little positivity by admitting, "his music is still hot." When asked if he'd continue dancing at a club if the DJ played a Drake track, Brown stopped just short of saying he'd have no problem with it. "I'ma be chillin'," he declared. "I would look like the corniest dude if I got all mad. He gon' hear me, I'm gon' hear him."
"I'm not gonna put myself in a situation for anything to mess up my career anymore," said Breezy. "You're always a target. But it's also me too, man. End of the day, you gotta take responsibility for the choices you make."
The "differences" between the YMCMB artists go back to a very public love triangle with Rihanna and a nightclub brawl where bottles were thrown and lawsuits were filed. While it must be hard for him to address the issue publicly, it's great to see Chris taking responsibility for his actions. Now, if he could only bury the hatchet with Frank Ocean...
