Beyoncé Teases Two New Songs
Beyoncé has served up a two-piece appetizer to whet the appetite of fans anxiously anticipating her forthcoming album. King Bey, as she is affectionately known, released the tracks “Bow Down and I Been On” late Sunday to her website.
The rugged Hit-Boy and Planet VI produced "Bow Down" finds King Bey in cocky rapper mode talking herself up while talking down on the competition.
"I took my time to live my life but don't think I'm just his little wife/ Don't get it twisted, get it twisted/ This is my s--t," she sings, before commanding opposing music stars to, "Bow down, b-----s."
The chopped and screwed sound for "I Been On" is an ode to Beyoncé’s Houston roots. Produced by The-Dream, the track previously leaked as part of a promo advertisement for the U.K. leg of the upcoming Mrs. Carter World Tour.
Beyoncé, however cites this kind of Sasha Fiercness was birthed even earlier. "I was in that Willie D video when I was about 14. Looking’ crazy. Shout out to Pimp C. We used to sneak and listen to that UGK."
Many are speculating as to who Beyoncé is addressing on the new feisty material.
Who do you think it is?
We don't know, but we suggest everyone should do as they were told. #BowDown
