Rapper Freddy E Commits Suicide
Rapper and comedian Freddy E committed suicide over the weekend and, in a disturbingly 21st century twist, tweeted his thought process right up until the moment he pulled the trigger. E, born Frederick Eugene Buhl, was found dead the night of January 5 of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Buhl, 22, had reportedly been involved in a tumultuous relationship with female rapper Honey Cocaine. In his last tweets, he spoke of heart break.
"Smoked my first pack of cigarettes today... been a long time since I've gone through heart break. It's a cold unforgiving world if I do say," he wrote.
In a following series of chillingly calm and methodical tweets, Buhl shared his last words and described putting a gun to his head.
"If there's a God then He's calling me back home. This barrel never felt so good next to my dome. It's cold & I'd rather die than live alone," he wrote.
"It's... all... bad... y'all. *puts finger around trigger*," he added.
And finally: "God... please forgive me."
Cocaine, an artist signed to Tyga's label, was forced to deflect charges from Freddy E fans that she was responsible for his death.
"To say I caused what happened is ignorance.. You know nothing about our friendship or the story, hate me if you feel.. We loved eachother," she wrote on Twitter.
"Say it's my fault, threaten me, whatever.. I knew him well enough to know he had other things happening.. I was there for him all the time," she added later. "People think they have an idea but it's not your business.. RIP my angel, my condolences."
