Kendrick Lamar Brings Out Dr. Dre and T.I. During Music Matters Tour

Hip hop heavyweights joined the Compton MC in Los Angeles.

Kendrick Lamar was in his native L.A. last night for a stop on the BET Music Matters Tour, so it was only right that the Aftermath signee pull out all the stops. To the delight of a rapturous audience, the rising rapper from Compton brought out his label boss and mentor Dr. Dre for a performance of their two songs together, "Compton" and "The Recipe."
And the West Coast revival didn't stop there. Fellow Aftermath and Compton scion Game also made an appearance, performing his own song with Kendrick, "The City." And as if that weren't enough, Lamar received additional support from the Dirty South in the form of T.I., who stopped by for performances of "Go Get It" and "What You Know?"
Kendrick's highly anticipated debut album, Good Kid, M.a.a.d City, is in stores next Monday, October 22. A new song, "Backseat Freestyle," produced by Hit-Boy, was released earlier this week.

Head on over to BET's Facebook and Twitter pages to see pictures from last night's show.
