After only two months under his management, Azealia Banks ditched her manager Troy Carter and is purportedly giving a stab at mixing business with pleasure. The Daily News gossip column Gatecrasher reports that Banks is putting her career in the hands of her boyfriend, Dave Holmes.
Although it's unclear who initiated the split, a source says Banks and Carter (who also manages Lady Gaga) had trouble working together. Carter quickly denied those claims.

"I can confirm that I ended the business relationship with Azealia last month on very amicable terms," Carter told Billboard.biz. "She's incredibly talented and I wish her nothing short of an amazing career."

Billboard also spoke to a source that disputed the report that Bank's 40-something-year-old beau was now at the helm of her career.
Only time will tell how much her career will be affected by the change in management. Under Carter's care, Banks has gotten some really high profile looks, her song "Bambi" was selected for the Thierry Mugler label's fall fashion show in Paris, she performed in place of Nicki Minaj at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala this past May and she played Coachella in April.
