Chris Brown's Fortune Gets Delayed
Chris Brown fans counting down the days until the release of the singer's new album will have to adjust their calendars — Brown announced over the weekend that the record will be delayed until July.
Fortune, the follow-up to Brown's Grammy-winning 2011 album, F.A.M.E., will now hit stores July 3. Previously, it was scheduled for a May 8 release.
The 22-year-old broke the news to his fans on Twitter.
“Team Breezy! The official album date for FORTUNE is July 3,2012!!!!!!!!!!!!” he wrote.
Three new singles from the album have currently made their way to airwaves, including "Turn Up the Music," "Sweet Love" and "Till I Die" featuring Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa.
There was a bit of good news for Breezy fans over the weekend. The romantic comedy Think Like a Man grabbed the number-one spot at the box office, Brown was among the star-studded cast that included Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union and BET’s own Terrence J.
