There are any number of reasons Kreayshawn might want to distance herself from her recent, much-disparaged freestyle on Philadelphia's Cosmic Kev Come Up Show, but one in particular is her casually placed Rick Ross diss.
"You tryin' to play me like a boss? You faker than Rick Ross," Kreay rhymed.
Speaking to MTV News, the 21-year-old Oakland native is distancing herself from the negative comments, which she says were unintentional.
"I don't know Rick Ross, I can't say anything about him. I've just gotta rhyme, man," Kreayshawn said.
Curbing any potential beef with the Maybach Music Group boss and influential emcee, Kreayshawn said dissing isn't in her nature.
"I've never, ever intentionally dissed anybody my whole career, and I don't do that personally with friends either," she said. "I'm not like a person to go against anyone or anything. So hey, no offense to you Rick Ross. There's no Rick Ross offensive things going on in there, even though it sounds like it."
Kreay may meet Ross later this month at the 2011 VMAs, where she is nominated for best new artist.
