Michelle Williams: 'My Womb Is Not Tickling for Children'
Her Destiny’s Child besties, Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland, might be deep in their mommy bliss, but Michelle Williams is in no rush to join them. In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, the 35-year-old singer said that while she loves children, she doesn’t find herself wanting one at the moment.
The single lady also said that she’s happy with her relationship status, but would love to find a future husband when the time is right.
“I am actually OK with my love life,” she said. “I am single. Not married. I would like to get married one day.”
But that’s as far as her future planning goes, she said, and has yet to find herself craving the pitter-patter of teeny baby feet around the house.
“About kids — I am not sure about children. People say that answer will change whenever I fall in love, but I don’t have baby names or anything like that,” she said.
Now, you have to applaud that. There’s no sense in getting ahead of yourself when there are other steps that need to come before all that. In the meantime, Williams can continue playing the role of auntie to Blue Ivy and baby Titan Jewell. And if she decides that motherhood just isn’t for her, then Bey and Rowland’s little babies will continue to bring a smile to her face.
"I love children,” she continued. "I think they are beautiful, but I don’t know. My womb is not tickling for children."
