Myth 1: Your Health Care Costs Are Going to Double - This myth is a tricky one. Ohio said its health insurance rates for individuals will go up 88 percent, and Indiana, estimated its individual rates will rise by 72 percent. Myth 2: Muslims Are Exempt From the Affordable Care Act - Chain emails led to this completely false rumor. The email said the word “dhimmitude,” which refers to non-Muslims under Muslim rule, was written on page 107 of the health care law and exempted Muslims. While there is a "religious conscience exemption,'' which applies to groups that disavow all forms of insurance, including Social Security, Muslims are not exempt.(Photo: David McNew/Getty Images)

Myth 3: With Obamacare, There Will Be More Abortions - Obamacare won’t influence the national abortion rate because legally no taxpayer money can be used to fund abortions. The costs for abortion will remain the responsibility of the person seeking the procedure.(Photo: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)

Myth 4: Congress Is Exempt From Obamacare - Congress is not exempt from Obamacare. Like the rest of the nation, lawmakers are required to have health insurance. Additionally, they are also required to buy insurance through the marketplace, so they will have the same experience as their constituents using the service. (Photo: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)
