[Photos] Rihanna Gives Her Ultimate Stan a Huge Reward for Coming Correct
One member of Rihanna's Navy got a serious upgrade from the singer.
A concert-goer named Emily Graily put in a lot of effort to prepare for the ANTI concert in Hartford, Connecticut, and got quite the reward as a result. Emily Graily created her own Rihanna-inspired costume, complete with her homemade version of the singer's Giambattista Valli dress worn to the 2015 Grammy Awards and a light-up mask of "Rhenna," the stick-figure version of Rihanna that the "Work" singer posts to social media.
Rihanna loved the costume so much she brought Graily backstage to sign and even try on the homemade Rhenna mask herself.
Graily, who is a costume design major at UC Santa Cruz, told MTV News that she was inspired to create the costume after attending a Lady Gaga concert and seeing all of her fans' commitment to impersonating their music idol. Rihanna reportedly saw the costume on Instagram during a pre-show party and subsequently followed Graily on the social media site.
During the show, Graily says that Rihanna pointed her out in the crowd and winked, and after the show, Rihanna invited Graily backstage. Rihanna even posted a picture of the two hanging out on her own Instagram page, proving how much she loved the costume.
