The First Look at Rihanna's New Puma Sneaker Is Everything
Rihanna's fashion empire continues to expand. Just days after showing the first-ever runway collection for her Fenty x Puma line during New York Fashion Week, the bad gal has released a high-fashion ad for her forthcoming sneaker campaign.
Rih noted on Instagram that the sneaker, dubbed "#TheTrainer," is coming soon, giving no further details on when we'd be able to cop the futuristic style. Judging by the photo, it's a low-cut, all-black shoe with a textured matte exterior and oversized tongue.
The ANTI singer previously released a line of thick-soled suede "creeper" sneakers for the brand (which instantly sold out). As for her NYFW show, Rih's edgy street wear, slinky dresses and '90s-inspired fur accessories were praised by her A-list pals, including Jeremy Scott and Kanye West, so we can only expect the superstar to keep cranking out the flyness well into the future.
Rihanna was named Puma's global brand ambassador and Women's Creative Director in December 2014. She also has a successful collaboration with Stance Socks and is currently the face of Dior.
