Jourdan Dunn’s New Look Will Make You Want to Go Natural ASAP
Consider this a new key to success: experimentation is a must. This rings especially true for British model Jourdan Dunn, who rocked a fierce short Afro for her double covers of the February issue of Vogue Brasil. That’s right, she’s so fabulous, the 25-year-old landed two glorious cover shots.

In one of her looks, she models a distressed trench coat from Burberry with an edgy halter top and shorts by Brazilian brand Osklen. In the second, she’s spring-ready in a gold laser cut dress by H&M.

Now, back to the hair. We’re going to assume it's a wig given how often she changes her mane for her high-fashion clients, but we’re loving it nonetheless. We’re especially hyped at how this powerful and gorgeous imagery will no doubt continue to influence the fashion world as a whole, and hopefully push it towards becoming a more diverse, accepting place for models of color.
Just last year, Angolan model Maria Borges ditched her weave for a tapered, natural cut, then stormed runways from Balmain to Victoria’s Secret like a boss. Needless to say, we’re looking forward to seeing more models of color break through on their own terms.
Jourdan’s issue of Vogue Brasil hits newsstands on January 29.
