Kevin Hart Breaks Into the Sneaker Game
Kevin Hart can add sneaker designer to his long list of professional accomplishments.
The Ride Along 2 star revealed his new cross-training shoe, “Hustle Harts.” in collaboration with Nike on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Friday night. That makes Hart the first actor/entertainer to have his own sneaker line under Nike's label. He also gave the Tonight Show audience a sneak peek of the shoe in true Kev Hart style — by jumping up on Fallon's desk.
Hart is currently the cross training spokesman for Nike and was more than proud to share his new collaboration, expressing how he wants to “inspire people, to motivate people, to become the best version of themselves, through physical fitness.” Hart has often used his social media to share his own fitness journey hoping to inspire others to do the same.
Kevin put his own personal flare to the design by including quotes all over the kicks. “Here’s what’s dope about this shoe. I’m all about inspiration and motivation. I’ve put all of my inspiring quotes all over my sneakers.” Among those included, “Don’t give up,” "Make today your last, but also make it your first” and “Health is Wealth.” The messages make it clear that these shoes are meant to be worn and used, not collected.
Nike's “Hustle Harts” do not have a set release date, but they are expected sometime this April. Hopefully it'll be easier to get our hands on them than Yeezy Boosts.
