Drake's Courtside Kicks Cost More Than Your Annual Mortgage

The rapper has the best sneaker game in the world.

Drake upped his game to see his hometown team play the [still] undefeated Golden State Warriors, Saturday night at the Air Canda Centre.

The rapper made waves last month when he showed up at a Toronto Raptors game in a pair of $5000 Air Jordan V Retro "Tokyo 23's," and this weekend, he rocked the Eminem x Carhartt x Air Jordan IV Retro, which ring up at an average of near $25,000 a pair.

THE (UN)OFFICIAL DRAKE-TIONARY

Ten pairs of the exclusive shoe were sold, raising some $227,552 for the Literacy Through Songwriting program. The uppers feature the special Carhartt canvas material, while the tongue shows off the iconic Jumpan and ShadyXV logos (Slim's label celebrated its 15th anniversary this year). The heel is emblazoned with the Detroit legend's signature "E" and hockey mask.
While the kicks weren't enough to intimidate Steph Curry and the Warriors into breaking their winning streak (they bested the Raptors 112-109), Drizzy did top the MVP on the list of 25 Most Influential People in Sneakers.
