Model Sues Lil Wayne for Putting Her on a T-Shirt

Says she doesn't want to be linked with "misogyny and violence."

A model featured on Lil Wayne’s clothing line Trukfit is suing the rapper for using her image without her permission.

Shanise Taylor admits she did a shoot for a photographer back in 2011, but was not a professional model at the time and didn't think the resulting photos would be used for anything. Come 2015, she was surprised to see her face on a Trukfit t-shirt. To make matters worse, the image had been photoshopped to make it seem like she isn't wearing panties.

I'M A BOSS: ARTISTS-TURNED-EXECUTIVES

Taylor says that she did not give the company permission to use her imagine and she would never allow it “on apparel associated with misogyny and violence.” She wants the shirts to be pulled from shelves and an undisclosed amount of damages for the trouble Lil Wayne and Trukfit have caused.

So far, no comment from Team Weezy.
