WNBA rookie Sklyar Diggins is fast making her mark in the branding world. First, the starting guard signed up with Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports and now Nike has tapped her as the new spokesperson for Nike Air Force 1.

The very photo friendly Diggins can be seen in the latest ad sporting the multi-hued blue, gray and white kicks Nike Air Force 1 Downtown Hi while wearing a pair of crisp jeans and a Nike tee.

The Tulsa Shock star has already made several appearances for the sneaker giant. One of her recent tweets said, “Had a great time at the Nike AF1 event! What a great crowd!” 

Diggins' partnership with Nike shouldn’t come as a big surprise. Nike endorsed the starting guard early on and now only midway through her first WNBA season, she is quickly blazing a trail in the game and business. Diggins is being credited with helping to boost WNBA league viewership, attendance and merchandise sales.

The way Diggins’ star is rising; she may be in line for her own Air Skylars very soon.
