Bobbi Kristina Brown Has Died at 22
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has died after being in a coma for several months, TMZ confirms. She was 22.
On Saturday, January 31, a friend reportedly found Brown unresponsive and face down in a bathtub in her Georgia home. She was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors stabilized her breathing and placed her into a medically induced coma to reduce swelling in the brain.
Despite some improvements, doctors were not able to revive her brain functioning. Bobby reportedly maintained faith that she would recover, but after being moved to hospice care she passed away, on July 26.
Brown's death eerily resembles that of her famed mother who died on February 11, 2012. Houston too was found in a bathtub. It was later declared she died of a combination of a drug overdose and heart complications.
Bobbi Kristina had only begun to carve her own path in entertainment. She debuted her singing voice on the reality show, The Houstons: On Our Own and tackled acting with Tyler Perry's For Better or Worse.
Our condolences go out to the Houston and Brown families.
