Report: Terrence Howard Threatened Suicide During Domestic Dispute

According to court docs filed by ex-wife Michelle Ghent.

Terrence Howard attempted to cut himself with an X-Acto knife during a heated argument with ex-wife Michelle Ghent, according to court documents filed by Ghent and obtained by the New York Daily News.
Among other allegations listed in the court documents: incidents of domestic abuse, including one in which Howard reportedly threw Ghent against a hardwood floor, and anger-filled diatribes in which he referred to himself as "Satan" and claimed that Ghent was his "last chance to ever love."
The couple, who were married in January 2010 and divorced this past May, have faced each other several times in court. Ghent has alleged domestic abuse and infidelity several times throughout her three-year marriage to the Oscar-nominated actor. The couple attempted to reconcile this past June in Costa Rica, but the reunion went horribly awry when Ghent claimed Howard beat her again, releasing pictures of herself with a black eye and other bruises.
Howard, by contrast, claims the Costa Rica incident was started by Ghent, who flew into a jealous rage and began pepper spraying him and members of his family. As for her most recent allegations, which she has backed up with photos and text messages, Howard claims they too are false and timed to interfere with the premiere of his latest film, Lee Daniels' The Butler.
“I live in constant fear of Michelle’s endeavors to ruin my reputation,” Howard told a court in 2011, adding recently that incidents of violence in their relationship nearly always begin with Ghent.
It's not clear what Ghent is seeking by filing the court documents, since the former couple's divorce was finalized on May 6 and she was granted a restraining order against her ex in August, days after the Costa Rica incident.
