Kerry Washington Scores Emmy Nomination for Scandal
The Emmy nominations were announced Thursday morning and the Gladiators are happy — Scandal received two nominations. Kerry Washington earned a nod for Outstanding Lead Actress for her portrayal of Olivia Pope in the hit series. If she wins, she'll become the first African-American to win an Emmy in that category. Dan Bucatinsky also earned a nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor for playing James Novack in the show. Unfortunately, Scandal wasn't nominated for Outstanding Drama Series.
