Cast members of The Game took over the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles to celebrate the hit series' season five premiere. In attendance were Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall, Coby Bell, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Hosea Chanchez and new cast member Brandy.

Series heartthrob Chanchez, who plays Malik Wright, told BET.com that his character will be “showing plenty of chest, ass and more." “Malik is going through a continued downward spiral from last season, but this season it’s just a lot funnier to watch.”

Sitcom veteran and The Game newcomer Brandy revealed which role she now portrays on the hit cable series. “I play Chardonnay and she is a sassy bartender who has a dream and that’s her hustle,” she says. “She knows what she wants, she’s very strong and she takes an interest in Jason Pitts [played by Coby Bell].”

And the reality TV alum, who appeared on such shows and Dancing With the Stars and Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business, says she was very excited about her return to scripted comedy.

“Sitcoms and scripted TV is where I’m from,” says Brandy. “The Game is such a great show and I’ve always been a fan of [The Game creator and executive producer] Mara Brock Akil. So when she came to me with the idea of Chardonnay I was like, ‘Omigosh yes, I want to be apart of it!’”

The Game Season five premiere airs January 10 at 10pm/9c on BET.
