2023 NAACP Image Awards: Check Out Which Dynamic Musical Duos are Up for ‘Outstanding Group or Collaboration (Traditional)’

Silk Sonic continues to rack up honors for their collaborative effort.

The 2023 NAACP Image Awards will be a ceremony you won’t want to miss. The night will be filled with big wins, special surprise guests, and of course, musical performances all taking place live during the two-hour LIVE TV special, airing Saturday, February 25th, 2023, at 8:00 PM ET on BET. Ahead of the event, we’re checking this year’s nominees, including the dynamic musical duos nominated  for an “Outstanding Group or Collaboration (Traditional)” award.

  • Kendrick Lamar feat. Blxst & Amanda Reifer – Die Hard

    Grammy Award-winning emcee Kendrick Lamar links up with rising rapper Blxst and singer Amanda Reifer for “Die Hard,” an r&b and pop-inspired track from his latest studio album Mr.Morale and the Big Steppers. The song peaked at number 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and the number four spot on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs.

  • Mary J. Blige feat. H.E.R. – Good Morning Gorgeous Remix

    Mary J. Blige and H.E.R. bring together two generations of r&b for the remix of Blige’s single “Good Morning Gorgeous” from her album of the same name Good Morning Gorgeous.

  • PJ Morton feat. Alex Isley and Jill Scott – Still Believe

    “Still Believe” from PJ Morton’s latest album, Watch The Sun, which dropped in May 2022. The track features beautiful vocals from neo-soul trailblazer Jill Scott and rising singer and songwriter Alex Isley.

  • Silk Sonic – Love's Train

    “Love's Train” is the fourth single from Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, and Silk Sonic’s smash debut album, An Evening with Silk Sonic. The song is a cover of Con Funk Shun’s 1982 single of the same name, “Love Train.”

  • Summer Walker, Cardi B, and SZA – No Love

    Three of the most talented women in music, Summer Walker, Cardi B, and SZA, team up on “No Love” from Walker’s Still Over It album, which was released in November 2021. SZA was on the initial track, with the Bronx emcee coming on board for the extended version.
