Jay Z - Jay Z organized this huddle after hearing too many of his peers complain about getting small royalty checks despite achieving millions of streams. He told The New York Times, “Everyone knows that the pay system is unfair to artists. Everywhere else, everyone gets compensated for their work. Music is everywhere — you consume it every day, everywhere you go. The content creator should be compensated. It’s only fair.”(Photo: Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images)
