The Rundown: Fabolous, The Young OG Project

A play-by-play of Fab's homage to the '90s.

Fabolous - The Young OG Project (2014) - Fab came back with a perfect strike, showing competition that he's way outta their league. And there's no better way to solidify your spot than making sure your son has all access to throne. King moves! It's Loso in case you aint know so.(Photo: Def Jam)
'Lituation' - Fabolous sets off his sixth official release with a banger for the clubs and the streets. Drawing pictures with his rhymes to describe the cinematic feel he delivers when he and his crew walk into a club, the Brooklyn MC's narrative bars display his macking approach as he spits, "And the bad b*****s be the mascot / Yeah, got your bm in my BM n***a / Yeah, she got taken, word to Liam n***a / Ha, we ain't gotta be a hundred deep / I'd rather ten lions than a hundred sheep."(Photo: Johnny Louis/Getty Images)
'We Good' feat. Rich Homie Quan - Fab and RHQ stand tall on this Phoenix Beats track as they shake haters loose and let the doubters know that since they didn't help or believe, they can get to stepping too. The Young OG spits with a chip on his shoulder here as he rhymes, "You know them haters be trying to take shots / They on the bench and they trying to take spots / Them n****s ice cold that you trying to make hot... / The feeling, we good on that fake s**t / We out here trying to stay far from it / We know 'bout the bottom, we all from it."(Photos: Bennett Raglin/BET/Getty Images)Fabolous - Fabolous definitely keeps it gangsta but the Brooklyn MC is also a master at spitting game to the ladies. Meshing his smooth lyrics with harmonies from R&B crooners like Ne-Yo and Lil' Mo, a few of Fab's bedroom ballads include "Can't Let You Go," "Baby" and "Make Me Better." (Photo: Bennett Raglin/BET/Getty Images for BET)
