Not that we're surprised: When rap marriages end, things get ugly. The Documentary Was Really 50's Album - Dr. Dre already had spent over a year in the recording studio with Game when Jimmy Iovine approached 50 to help the newcomer (because Game could spit but couldn't write songs, Fif explained). "I gave him my second album," Fif said.(Photo: Peter Kramer/Getty Images)

Game/G-Unit - Game's 2005 split from G Unit had it all — gunshots outside Hot 97, tons of diss tracks, Summer Jam tomfooleryand an awkward man-hug. (Photo: Peter Kramer/Getty Images)

Young Buck/G-Unit - In retrospect, Game had it easy though. When Buck left G-Unit in 2008, 50 leaked a phone call of the Memphis rapper crying and apologizing.    (Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images)

Jay-Z/R. Kelly - Jay-Z and R. Kelly's Best of Both Worlds partnership ended in a cloud of pepper spray when the so-called Pied Piper of R&B got maced by one of Hov's boys. A massive lawsuit followed. (Photos: from left Astrid Stawiarz/Getty Images, Donna Ward/Getty Images)

"Say Something" - "I am not normal, let me be the first to warn ya," announces Havoc over Illmind's bouncing synths. The Mobb's chemistry explodes as they trade intricate flows. Prodigy follows up spitting flawlessly, dropping simple couplets that unfold with multiple meanings to those familiar with The Mobb's past.(Photo: Johnny Nunez/WireImage)

Diddy/Mase - Diddy and Mase used to seem like BFFs — dressing in identical shiny suits and everything. But when Mase tried to make a comeback in the late 2000s, he said an onerous contract with Diddy was holding him back and mounted a campaign to become a free agent. At one point he even bumrushed Diddy during an interview and made him sign release papers on camera. (Photo: Frank Micelotta/Getty Images)

Tupac/Notorious B.I.G. - It doesn't get much messier than this. Biggie and Pac were friends, partying and making records together, before their infamous beef spiraled out of control — eventually, many believe, leading to their deaths. The Evolution of Q-Tip - While Q-Tip's solo career stalled — he reportedly clashed with his label over the experimental stylings on his unreleased sophomore album, Kamaal the Abstract — Tribe reunited for a series of shows in the late 2000s, including the acclaimed Rock the Bells tour. (Photo: Taylor Hill/Getty Images)

A Tribe Called Quest - Tribe's de facto dissolution — officially, they're still together, but only for very occasional shows — was documented in the 2011 film Beats, Rhymes and Life, which showed Phife and Q-Tip constantly bickering and even coming to blows at one point. The Fugees - It was short-lived but memorable when the talented trio got back together in 2004 to perform in Brooklyn for Dave Chappelle's Block Party concert. It was their first show since 1997. A world tour followed, as well as rumors of a new album, but that was deaded when a rift between Wyclef and Lauryn Hill sent any chances of a new Fugees LP up in smoke. Now all we can do is hope that with L-Boogie back in the studio, we'll get another reunion soon.(Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images)
