Can't we all just get along?

Middle Man: When Rappers Play Neutral - Can't we all just get along? That was the message from Meek Mill when asked about the simmering beef between his Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross and Young Jeezy. "I don't participate in none of that," he said of the rivalry. "Me, I advise them to chill before somebody gets killed...." But Meek isn't the first rapper to claim Switzerland status in a beef involving one of their affiliates. Drake - Drake kicked a verse on his Young Money boss Lil Wayne's "It's Good" last year, in which Weezy took aim at long-time frenemy Jay-Z (who Drizzy has also collaborated with in the past). But when MTV News asked him about it, he downplayed his role in the conflict. "I just got a beat and did a verse over it," Drake said. "Whatever any other individual has to say, you have to ask the man himself. I just did what I know how to do. I just got on a record. I heard the beat, did a verse and heard the final product." Big Sean - Big Sean made it clear he wasn't stressing the war of words between Lil Wayne's Young Money and his own crew mate Pusha T when he appeared on "My Homies Still" with Weezy himself. "I don’t be knowing what the f--k be going on. N---as is beefing, if they not beefing. I don’t know, don’t nobody know,” Sean later said when asked about the conflict. “Who gives a f--k man? I don’t care.…Ain’t nobody dying over that s--t. Ain’t nobody dying; we making money, man." (Photos from left: Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic, Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images, Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images)

Tyga - After Chris Brown and Drake clashed in a Manhattan nightclub this past summer, Drizzy's label mate Tyga tried to play peacemaker in an interview with MTV. "Nobody wants to see them beef," he said. "Chris is my brother, Drake is family too, so it's like at the end of the day, they gotta handle that like men. Nobody else can mediate that." Nicki Minaj - Nicki Minaj wasn't playing sides in the beef between Breezy and her homie Drake either. "I don't approve of talented people doing things that aren't conducive to an amazing career," Nicki said in a British interview. Big Sean - Big Sean, who collaborated with Chris Brown on "My Last," didn't return the favor by backing up Breezy in his brawl with Drake. "Hopefully they get it resolved, honestly, man. People ain't got no time for no beef," Sean told MTV. "People ain't got no time to be beefin'. We workin' too hard for our fam, for our kids, our unborn kids to have a bright future. Nobody got no time for that." (Photos from left: Barry Brecheisen/Getty Images For Park City Live, Kevin Winter/Getty Images, John Ricard / BET)

Kanye West - Many accused Kanye West of disloyalty when he reached out to Nas, who was then arch rival to his boss and big bro, Jay-Z, to appear on his 2005 classic, "We Major." In reality, the song may have been an olive branch of sorts, as Nas and Hov reconciled later that year at Hov's "I Declare War" comeback concert in New Jersey. J. Cole - During Jay-Z and Lil Wayne's back-and-forth last year, J. Cole, who's signed to Hov's Roc Nation, played the middle. "I don’t really have too much perspective on that. I don’t think that’s a real thing, like a real issue. I don’t even think they both wake up thinking about that situation," he said in an interview with DJ Absolut. "I don’t think it’s about being the better emcee. They both do two different things. Obviously, they’re both great. Jay-Z’s been greater for a longer time, but they both great." 2 Chainz - 2 Chainz is affiliated with GOOD Music and also collaborated with Drake on "No Lie," so he was in a tough spot when Pusha T began warring with Lil Wayne, Drake and Young Money in general. "I have nothing to do with what Pusha is doing every day or what Wayne is doing every day,” Chainz told CBS Local. "These are just peers of mine. I wouldn’t want nothing to happen to neither one of them. But I don’t referee or mediate. I mind my business. That’s why I’m here right now. When you come from the streets you learn to mind your own business." (Photos from left: Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images, Christopher Polk/Getty Images, Johnny Nunez/WireImage)

T.I. - Tip played it cool when asked about the renewed beef between his frequent collaborator Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane. "I got my mind set on a big sack with a lot of money in it," T.I. said. "Anything not of that understanding and of that nature, I don't really see it. So I don't really know what you're asking me about it."
