Troy Ave vs. Joey Bada$ - Brooklyn's lyrical titans and XXL Freshman alum Joey Bada$ and Troy Ave can't seem to play nice and have fired off a few rounds of subliminal disses at each other. It all stems over the crown of being the indie king. Taking note of Troy's claim for the throne after moving less than eight thousand units of Major Without a Deal during its first week, Joey hit up Twitter with, "Reminder: Joey Bada$ sold 57,000+ albums in his first week, INDEPENDENTLY... At 20 years old... $10/album... 85% of shares, do the math.... That makes me the #1 Independent Hip Hop artist/brand in the world...."Not willing to let the jab go unanswered, Troy fired back, tweeting, "NO single, NO party hosting's NO real endorsements Reminder: NObody cares + u WORK for Sony Red / Cinematic Records #FakeIndependent."Did we mention that both have distribution dea...

Big Sean vs. Joey Bada$ - Class of 2013 freshman Joey Bada$ took aim at 2010 graduate Big Sean after Sean released a promo to his Hall of Fame album called "Control" that virtually shut down the Twittersphere. The song featured verses from Jay Electronica and Kendrick Lamar. Joey's response? "Big sean verse was weak. Sorry," he tweeted.(Photos: John Ricard/Getty Images for BET)

J. Cole vs. Diggy Simmons - 2012 alumn Diggy and 2010 grad J. Cole had their war of words with a volley of rhymes that reportedly started after rumors of a romance between Cole and Diggy's sister, Vanessa Simmons, surfaced. It heated up when Cole seemingly dissed Diggy in a freestyle. Kendrick Lamar had invited him onstage during his Music Matters Tour set in North Carolina and he let loose. "Picture me hating on a young n***a with talent/ Album flopped, but it's cool, he caked out on his allowance," Cole rapped. Diggy fired back with a track called "Fall Down." "I guess I rattled you, snaggletooth / You know better / Thought J stood for Jermaine, not Jet Setter / You seen me and shook my hand, coppin' pleas in person / Now you wack, less than a man, mention me in verses."(Photos from left: Cindy Ord/Getty Images, John Ricard/BET)

Hopsin vs. Big Sean and Mac Miller - 2012 Freshman alumn Hopsin, while taking questions from fans on video social media site Ustream, said he doesn't like former XXL classmates Big Sean or Mac Miller. "Heck no...[I'm] not a fan," the Strange Music rapper told viewers. Fighting words. (Photos from left: Ilya S. Savenok/Getty Images, Courtesy Facebook)

Charles Hamilton vs. J. Cole - Cole's been the target of venom from fellow Freshman before, though. Harlem rapper Charles Hamilton, who rose to fame in the wake of his XXL look before he was dropped by Interscope and spent some time in jail and rehab, released the self-explanatory track "J. Cole Diss," which took shots at his one-time ally and fellow Freshmen cover alumnus. (Photos: Amanda Edwards/WireImage; Astrid Stawiarz/Getty Images)

Charles Hamilton vs. Wale - J. Cole isn't the first freshman Charles Hamilton tangled with. Wale, who appeared with Charles on the cover in 2009, dissed him in several concert freestyles. Wale later explained he "just liked to mess with him." Charles Hamilton never responded in kind, posting on his blog, "I don't care."(Photos: Brian To/FilmMagic/Getty Images; John Ricard/BET)

Wale vs. Kid Cudi - Kid Cudi and Wale started out as homies who were both anointed on the 2009 Freshman cover. But things turned sour in a Cudder interview with Complex, in which he famously said he doesn't "f**k with Wale musically," calling Wale a "simple-a*s rapper" after the D.C. MC mentioned him harmlessly in a rhyme. Wale tweeted back that Cudi was letting "liquid cocaine get to" him, referencing his drug arrest. But the two MCs apparently squashed their beef last year and even exchanged pleasantries on Twitter.(Photo: John Ricard/BET; Charley Gallay/Getty Images for Bacardi)

Plies vs. Pill - Plies, from the inaugural 2008 Freshman class, reportedly took a subliminal shot at 2009 alumnus Pill on Young Jeezy's "Lose My Mind," rapping, "Tell the Pill man he need a blue dolphin / Old broke-ass n---a stop c--k-blocking." Is a blue dolphin Viagra? Either way, we're laughing.(Photos: Brad Barket/PictureGroup; Rick Diamond/Getty Images for Heineken)

Yelawolf vs. Machine Gun Kelly - In the cypher at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards, Yela rhymed, "Plenty of white boys to pick from this year/But before you pick a pepper you better pick up your heater." Kelly took offense, saying "I think that was about me" in a radio interview. Yela responded that MGK was being "sensitive," but warned, "If you want it, come get it." Kelly later played the beef down, saying "I don't think hip hop needs that."(Photos: John Ricard/BET; Bennett Raglin/Getty Images)

Danny Brown vs. Mac Miller - Don't expect a collab between 2012 alumn Danny Brown and 2011's Mac Miller anytime soon. Brown told Rolling Stone, "He's the worst guy around. Don't get me started... If I see him, I'm just going to have to apologize to him, like, 'Man, I just want to apologize for hating you so much. Because I'm not going to stop. You're probably a cool guy. I don't feel violent in any way, but I really hate you. I hate your music, man.'"(Photos: WENN.com; Frank Micelotta/PictureGroup)
