Soulja Boy - SB may have jumpstarted his career on YouTube, but things really took off when his "Crank That" single reached the top of the "106" countdown. Furthermore, everyone from Jamie Foxx to Samuel L. Jackson tried learning the dance during appearances on the couch. Three years later, SB still seems to appear on the countdown with every video he drops.
Nicki Minaj - Nicki’s rise to "106" All-Star was gradual. The Queens femcee quietly made her “106” debut on Robin Thicke’s “Shake It 4 Daddy.” Soon enough, Nicki was appearing on Ludacris’ “My Chick Bad,” Usher’s “Lil Freak” and more recently, Trey Songz’s “Bottoms Up.”  She’s presently proving to be a solo force to be reckoned with as her “Your Love” single is presently no.  1 on the countdown.Marques Houston - IMX came out years before "106’s" first episode, but the show definitely helped break MH as a solo artist. "Clubbin'" featuring Joe Budden, "That Girl" and "Naked" all did well on the countdown.
