Calling All Hotties! Megan Thee Stallion To Hold First Virtual Live Performance
Megan Thee Stallion has announced she will be holding her first live virtual concert this Saturday.
On Saturday (Aug. 22), Live Nation announced the news via Instagram, “Hot Girl Meg @theestallion takes the stage August 29th at 6pm EST/11pm BST for a live virtual concert!” the post before directing fans to their bio to cop tickets going for $15 for the approaching event.”
The Hot Girl leader alerted her 14.3 million followers and loyal fans on the social platform as well, writing, “HOTTIES!!! I’m doing a live stream performance on AUGUST THE 29TH. IF YOU’RE A REAL HOTTIE GO GET YOUR TICKETS RIGHT NOW!”
The coronavirus pandemic hit the U.S right around when Megan Thee Stallion released her Suga EP to a positive reception from fans on March 6. The project’s second track, “Savage” quickly emerged as a fan-favorite, spawning the viral Tik Tok challenge.
In August, the 25-year-old notched her second No.1 hit with her historic team up with Cardi B on “WAP.” In response to their collaboration’s success, Cardi and Megan held a $1 million giveaway in partnership with mobile payment service CashApp.
This show will also mark her first show since the July 12 shooting incident involving Canadian artist Tory Lanez. After dealing speculation, Megan revealed he was the one shot her last week.
The live virtual concert is produced by Live Nation, with creative direction from choreographer and dancer JaQuel Knight, per the press release.
