Chloe X Halle Deliver Sultry Music Video, “Do It” Ahead Of New Album
Chloe x Halle continue to build up anticipation for their sophomore studio album, dropping off a music video for their new single, “Do It.”
The sisters revealed the music video via social media on Thursday (May 14). In the three-minute visual feature, the R&B pair dance in a number of glamorous outfits while singing about living a care-free life without drama.
Beyoncé even gave the music video her stamp of approval with a reshare on her Instagram page. Chloe x Halle are signed to the music superstar’s Parkwood Entertainment label.
This latest release follows the R&B sister duo’s unveiling of their single “Catch Up,” a collaboration with Swae Lee and Mike WiLL Made It. Both songs are expected to be on their forthcoming sophomore studio album, Ungodly Hour, which will be released on June 5. The album is their follow-up to their acclaimed 2018 debut album, The Kids Are Alright.

In a recent interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, the sisters spoke about the inspiration behind their new album.
“My sister and I, we are such music heads of real musicality and I feel like we kind of showed that on our first album, The Kids Are Alright,” Chloe told Lowe. “And for this one, we really just wanted to show how we could pair our musicianship with a few bops and letting people enjoy themselves and have fun as well as the lyrics and the messaging of the album. We called it Ungodly Hour because it’s okay to not be perfect all the time. It’s okay to have those moments of self reflection when you just don’t feel okay.”
Halle, who has been tapped to play Ariel in Disney’s live action remake of The Little Mermaid, added that they “wanted to challenge this idea of us being these perfect angels that everybody has this image of us in their head.”
