Here Are The Millennium Tour Dates That Are Postponed Due To Coronavirus
Longtime fans of R&B and hip-hop were excited to hear that Omarion was bringing back the Millennium Tour for 2020 with some of our childhood favorites in tow like Bow Wow, Ashanti, Lloyd, and more. The 32-date tour kicked off in February, but the organizers behind the tour have been forced to reschedule tour dates due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Bow Wow confirmed the unfortunate news via Instagram where he informed fans that any tickets that were previously purchased will be honored at consequent shows.
“We are working hard everyday and will continue to update you with the latest news! Stay safe and we will be back before you know it!” he promised. “Tix are still available for purchase! DONT FORGET HOLD ON TO YOUR TIX IF PURCHASED THEY WILL BE GOOD TO USE AT NEW DATES!”
G-Squared Events also posted an update to their website outlining some of the measures they will be implementing moving forward. Given the unprecedented spread of the coronavirus, the Millennium Tour is anticipated to resume in May for now.
“We will continue to work with the appropriate state and local authorities and our venue partners to provide a safe and healthy environment at each tour stop. During this time, we ask for your patience,” the announcement read. “As each day develops, we will continue to plan accordingly and ultimately determine the best course of action. Our commitment is to keep you posted on a regular basis. Thanks for your understanding.”
