The devastating fatality of former basketball player Cliff Dixon pierced the hearts of his family and friends everywhere as several reports detail the violent attack that claimed his life in the wee hours of Thursday (March 21) morning.

Dixon was celebrating his 32nd birthday at the time of the shooting, which reportedly happened in the Little Saigon strip mall parking lot around 1 a.m. Unfortunately, police arrived at the scene when Dixon was in critical condition. He later died at Grady Memorial Hospital, as reports maintained that the shooting suspect escaped on foot. There are currently no leads on the culprit, despite law enforcement implementing a K-9 search following the incident, and no witnesses to the shooting as of yet. But as police continue the hot pursuit of the suspect in their own investigation, Dixon’s dearest family and friends have focused their attention on the love, laughter and memories they shared with the 32-year-old.
