Original story:
As reported by several entertainment and major news outlets, R&B star Chris Brown’s Paris Men’s Fashion Week visit has unfortunately been extended for the worst due to a rape charge arrest.
Breezy was detained on Monday (January 21), Associated Press reports from French law enforcement sources, after the complaint was filed in the 17th arrondissement (a French subdivision) of northwest Paris. Thus far, his publicists over at Sony Music have not confirmed any of the reports nor the details that have circulated yet. But as CNN, Associated Press, HuffPost and other major media outlets dig into Breezy’s legal past in the meantime, allow us to provide you with the facts of what we know so far about the alleged rape case and arrest.
Brown was reportedly arrested with two other individuals
AP points out that an unnamed French official stated that one of the other arrestees is actually his bodyguard as well.
The woman who filed the rape complaint claims she met Brown and friends last week
At a club named Le Crystal, to be exact. The alleged meet-up happened in the 8th arrondissement overnight between last Tuesday (January 15) and Wednesday (January 16), and they all headed back to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in central Paris, she claims. Details on the woman’s identity remain disclosed, but the original French celeb magazine that broke the news of Breezy’s arrest reports that she’s a 24-year-old woman who claims the rape occurred in a room at the Mandarin hotel.
The accuser also names Brown, the aforementioned arrested bodyguard and another friend of raping her as well
All three of the individuals she named were reportedly arrested after she told police she found herself alone in one of the rooms at the hotel. It was then, she alleged, that Brown and the other two men raped her.

One woman allegedly in attendance that night, Kim Ford, is denying Brown's involvement in the rape
Brown and the other arrestees can only be held for a maximum of two more days…
As French investigators study the case. After that deadline, they will need to determine whether to release him or file preliminary charges. Brown’s longtime U.S. attorney, Mark Geragos, has also not yet commented on the reported arrest and charges.
However, with the details released thus far, the internet and Team Breezy believe they have enough to build a solid case for or against the R&B icon. Hear some of their arguments below:
