The Game Penned A Heartfelt Statement On Black Women Amid 'Surviving R. Kelly'
Compton's very own Robin Hood, The Game is the latest member of the hip-hop community to fearlessly voicing their opinions on R. Kelly, amid the heartbreaking docuseries that aired this past weekend. The former Aftermath signee has been known to speak out against social injustices and police brutality and now, with the current attack on black girls and women, the West Coast icon has a message and everyone needs to listen up.
"With everything going on with this whole Surviving R. Kelly drama, Cyntoia Brown's injustice & recent well-deserved pardon & the murder of Jazmine Barnes [...] now is the time to to give black women as much love and respect as possible."
"Especially our babies," he continued. "I pray for the strength of those who are weakened by mass manipulators..."
The Documentary rapper implores us that he "will no longer turn a blind eye to the obvious." Game finished his statements to say, "I am sorry you've all had to endure so much & I truly admire your fortitude."
Being one of Robert's many collaborators, his stance was well-received.
Well said, Jayceon. We appreciate you.
