Ariana Grande's Message To Mac Miller Is Breaking Fans' Hearts Into Pieces

"I'm so sorry I couldn't fix or take your pain away..."

Pop songstress Ariana Grande has rightfully taken her time to grieve the loss of hip-hop’s beloved Pittsburgh talent Mac Miller away from social media and invasive demands for a statement on his passing.

The Sweetener songstress also disabled her Instagram comments amid the absurdity of arguments surrounding her breakup with the Swimming rapper months prior to his fatal drug overdose. On Friday (September 14), the Sweetener songstress returned to Instagram for her very first statement on his untimely death. But, instead of addressing the blame-thirsty witch hunt, she posted a treasurable memory with Mac and a message for him that we’re certain would bring a smile to his face, but tears to those of all who cherished him.

  • Prior to her statement, Ariana took to Instagram to post a caption-less nostalgic photo of Mac on the day of his passing

  • But in her video of a different Mac memory, Ariana records some alone time with her then-boyfriend as they share laughs about a story that she lovingly pleads with him to tell her again

In a beautiful irony of sorts, Mac is also wearing a black hoodie in the video, which reads, “Everything will be ok.” In the caption, she reveals she first met him when she was just 19, and has adored him ever since.

“I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore,” she wrote. “I really can’t wrap my head around it. We talked about this. So many times. I’m so mad, I’m so sad I don’t know what to do.”

Despite their split, Ariana reminds that he was her dearest friend before anything else. For that, she laments the demons he was left to fight. “I’m so sorry I couldn’t fix or take your pain away,” she wrote. “I really wanted to. The kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. I hope you’re okay now. Rest.”
