SMH: Jay-Z Left The Grammys Empty-Handed And The Internet Is Rioting
As the glitz and glamour from the biggest night in music begins to settle, one thing was made surprisingly clear: Jay Z's 4:44 was very much snubbed.
While Hov was up for eight Grammys noms for his magnum opus, the hip-hop titan was completely shut out of each rap category as Kendrick Lamar racked up on awards. Towards the end of the star-studded night, however, many were expecting the music mogul to at least walk away with a loftier titles like Record of The Year. Unfortunately for Jigga, Bruno Mars was awarded with the prestigious accolade in what many are calling a predictable and safe outcome.
