Report: Jay-Z Could Have Lost Beyoncé, If Not For This One Person
Jay-Z and Beyoncé nearly ended their hip-hop love story due to the rapper’s infidelity. While the couple has admitted that both their albums Lemonade and 4:44 served as therapy to addressing and overcoming their marital hardships, there was one specific factor that ultimately saved them. According to a new report published by The Jasmine Brand, their daughter Blue Ivy ultimately kept them together.
Following Jay’s cheating, Beyoncé reportedly had a lot of trouble trusting him, an insider told the publication. Their relationship had become so damaged that Bey was even considering leaving him altogether. “It was very rough for them to stay married,” the source stated. “It took Beyoncé a long time to trust again. She was struggling to move on and forgive.”
Nevertheless, the source said keeping the family intact was most important to Beyonce. So the family entered counseling in order to mend their relationship. But it was ultimately Blue Ivy who was their saving grace. “If it wasn’t for Blue Ivy, they might not be together,” the insider continued. “It took them years to get to the point where they are now.”
This new report shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, though. Hov touched on his infidelities on 4:44 and how he wanted to be a better man for his three children. “And if my children knew / I don’t even know what I would do / If they ain’t look at me the same / I would probably die with all the shame," he rapped on "4:44."
