Here’s Why Suge Knight Suddenly Dropped His Lawsuit Against Chris Brown
Suge Knight is allegedly backing down from a lawsuit he filed against Chris Brown.
According to TMZ.com, Suge Knight was shot 7 times while attending an LA nightclub where Chris Brown was performing in 2014. Shortly after recovering from his injuries, the former Death Row records exec filed a lawsuit against the crooner blaming Brown’s alleged gang affiliation and the club’s ill prepared security staff responsible for his injuries.
CB’s legal reps allegedly penned a letter to Knight threatening to issue a “malicious prosecution lawsuit” if he went forward with his questionable lawsuit. After careful consideration, Suge Knight has formally dropped his lawsuit against Chris Brown, 1 0AK Nightclub and singer Pia Mia, who was co-hosting the party.
Suge Knight is currently awaiting trial for the 2015 hit-and-run confrontation that left one man dead and one man injured.
