Here's Why Cardi B's Producer Is Penning An Apology To Beyoncé
Cardi B’s sound engineer, Ashby The Mix Engineer, might have been on the come-up after he produced the rapper’s No.1 record, “Bodak Yellow.” But the hitmaker reached a decline when he leaked top secret information about Cardi collaborating with Beyoncé.
As we all know, Queen Bey is all about her privacy, so when the news of their collab hit the news stream, it probably didn’t sit right with her team. Now, Ashby has issued an apology to the mega star on social media.
In an attempt to get back in her good graces, Ashby hit Snapchat to cop a plea. "Public apology to Beyonce and all her fans unfortunately Hot New Hip Hop invated my privacy,” he said, misspelling “invaded.” “In everything that I post it’s been nothing but encurancement [sic] to my small IG following that’s trying to grind like me in this tough business.”
Although he took responsibility for the mishap, he said that this was a lesson for his future business moves. “I cannot turn back the hands of time so at least this a life lesson I’ve learned on my behalf and all I can do is move forward,” he added.
Beyoncé and Cardi originally met during the Made In America Music Festival in Philadelphia. It's unclear when or if their collaboration will drop. Ashby might’ve taken an L by leaking the info before it was time, but it’ll probably blow over soon. And if he can create some as amazing as “Bodak Yellow,” his bounce back will happen in no time.
