Yo Gotti Reportedly Named A Person Of Interest In Young Dolph Shooting
Following reports of a Hollywood shootout that left Memphis rapper Young Dolph critically injured and rushed to the hospital, TMZ has new details on who police have named a person of interest in the incident: Yo Gotti.
According to the site, responding officers revealed that the entourages of the “Rake It Up” rapper and Dolph got into a disagreement at the Loews Hotel in Hollywood on Tuesday (September 26), which both artists were staying at. Thereafter, TMZ adds, shots rang out outside of the hotel, Dolph was struck and witnesses reportedly named Gotti as one of the individuals involved.
No confirmation from either Gotti or Dolph’s teams has been released yet. However, it’s worth noting that the Memphis rap stars do have a storied history, such as a February shooting incident in which Dolph’s SUV was riddled with over 100 bullets in Charlotte, North Carolina. Police issued an arrest warrant for Blac Youngsta, Gotti’s CMG artist, who later turned himself in on the charges as well.
Dolph’s condition is currently listed as critical but stable, following the incident. As captured by DJ Akademiks, bystanders allegedly captured footage of his escort from the ambulance to the hospital also.
BET.com is prayerful for Young Dolph’s speedy recovery during this time.
