From bringing out some of the most iconic women in rap music during her Summer Jam set to praising rap newbies, it’s clear that Remy Ma is serious about uniting women in hip hop.

Most recently, Remy Ma took to social media sharing photos of her studio session with rap legend Lil’ Kim. Matching each other’s fly in bomber jackets, distressed jeans and sneakers, Remy gushed, “This me all day around @lilkimthequeenbee 😆...had to literally get up and move away from her just to finish writing my verse cuz I was dying laughing.”

Lil Kim followed suit posting a photo of their session and writing, “My partner frfr!! The amount of 🔥that was in this room was ridiculous!! Somebody call the fire marshals sheesh.”

Remy is currently putting the finishing touches on her highly anticipated 7 Winters 6 Summers album.

While Remy Ma and Lil’ Kim may have united under the scope of empowerment, one can only wonder if there will be shade thrown at their common enemy, Nicki Minaj, on their upcoming collab.
