'Adnis' Track Will Reportedly Appear on Physical Copies of Jay-Z's '4:44'
While social media and hip hop lovers alike continue to praise the body of work that is JAY-Z's latest release 4:44, super-fans were left asking one important question: Where's "Adnis?"
Thankfully, the MC's longtime engineer has addressed the question in a recent tweet, and fans are pleased with his response.
Jigga first gave fans a taste of "Adnis" in snippet form during the rollout for the highly anticipated LP. The song, named after his late father, Adnis Reeves, takes on a confessional tone that only left fans thirsty for more. To their surprise, however, the song was MIA on the Tidal release of the album.
After noticing outraged fans' responses to the missing track on social media, Gimel "Young Guru" Keaton, who is responsible for recording every song on the album, revealed that the track will, in fact, appear on the physical copies of the album.
As a bonus, he also added that there may be a few more surprises in store.
While Young Guru's words allow fans to release a sigh of relief, a confirmed date for when physical copies will drop is yet to be announced.
