Ciara and Future Finally Reach a Custody Agreement
Ciara and Future spent much of 2016 on separate ends of the courtroom amid a custody dispute over their son, 2-year-old Baby Future, and a defamation lawsuit.
And since the R&B songstress’s dismissal of her defamation case against the rapper, things are finally on a steady up between the former couple after they now have come to a custody agreement.
According to TMZ, sources disclosed that the two have settled on a joint custody deal, with most of Baby's Future time spent with Ciara. As Fewtch embarks on his rap career obligations, such as touring, the 2-year-old will be available to him upon each return to Atlanta also. TMZ reports that sources added that both of them want to brush the feud under the rug and move forward with their parenthood and that case has officially been dismissed.
Since both seem to be playing fair these days, the end to the custody dispute and Ciara’s doing away with the $15 million defamation suit against the Purple Reign rap star is a timely improvement in their co-parenting relationship. Filed in February 2016, Ciara claimed in the lawsuit that Fewtch had been slandering her motherhood through interviews and tweets, according to TMZ. Recently, however, both parties were able to coexist amid the buzz of Fewtch’s presence at the Falcons-Seahawks playoff game, where Ciara’s husband, Russell Wilson, played in opposition to the Atlanta football team.
We’re glad to see the pair has continued a to turn over new leaf in 2017!
