For His Birthday, Drake Announces New Album And Drops 4 New Tracks
Tomorrow (October 24) marks the beginning of Drake's 30th rotation around the sun, and true to his celebratory spirit, the rapper has shared some very big news with fans.
Taking to his Instagram today (October 23), the Toronto rapper revealed that he has another new project in the works, titled More Life, and that it will see a release this December. He's also referring to the project as a "playlist," and not as a mixtape or official album.
While guest hosting OVO Sound radio, he debuted a total of four tracks, including one featuring 21 Savage, titled "Sneakin'." He also premiered "2 Birds 1 Stone," during which he fires a ruthless shot at Kid Cudi with the line, "You were the man on the Moon, now you just go thru your phases."
Additionally, Drake also debuted "Wanna Know (Remix)," and "Fake Love," with the later track likely being inspired by his fleeting summer fling with Rihanna. Needless to say, the 6 God has a lot on his mind these days.
The cover art for his new project features an epic throwback photo of his heavily mustached father, Dennis Graham, looking spiffy in a bowtie and puffing on a tobacco pipe, while taking a pen to a pad of paper. Like father, like son.
