You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who keeps in better spirits through tragedy than LaTavia Roberson.

The former Destiny’s Child member recently took to Instagram and confirmed that she was recently in the hospital and, even worse, lost her unborn baby.

“Hey lovers! I do truly appreciate every prayer and everything positive that was sent my way,” she captioned a pic of her previously pregnant with the child. “I was, in fact, in the hospital. And during that time, unfortunately, I lost my daughter but MY GOD never makes mistakes. Thank you for your ongoing prayers! I know my angel is watching over our family!!! I love you all.”

Back in July, Roberson revealed that she was having pregnancy complications. At the time, she said she was “fighting for her life” in regards to her unborn daughter and that she herself was in “critical medical condition.”
